All the new programming for the week of June 17, featuring Chautauqua Sunrise, Chautauqua Spotlight 2017 and the latest Chautauqua Institution Lecture Series 2016!
Chautauqua lectures airing this week are Ron Cole-Turner, Would You Make a Good Transhumanist?" at 7:00 AM and 11:00 PM and James J. Hughes, "Transcending the Limit of Our Humanity" at 12:45 PM and 6:45 PM.
Chautauqua Sunrise, hosted by Doc Hamels, will feature Michelle Henry, Chautauqua County Historian as his guest. The program airs live county-wide on various access channels at 9:00 AM on Saturday only, then repeats at 2:00 PM and 8:00 PM on Access Channel 5.
Chautauqua Spotlight will feature Michael Hill, president of Chautauqua Institution. The program was produced by WNED in Buffalo and will air at 4:00 PM and 10:00 PM.
All programming starts on Saturday, June 17 and runs through Friday, June 23.
Access Channel 5 is available to cable viewers in the Chautauqua, Mayville, North Harmony, Portland, Sherman, and Westfield areas, and can be found on channel 5 with a cable converter or on 5.3 on digital televisions without a cable converter.
