All the new programming for the week of March 24, featuring Chautauqua Sunrise, Defenders of Freedom, and 'Your Brain in Action'.

"Defenders of Freedom" shares the first hand experiences of WWII veterans in the Western NY and Northwestern PA areas. Hosted and filmed at the Jackson Center in Jamestown NY, the project is a collaborative effort between the Center, the United Veterans Council, Chautauqua County Office of Veterans Services and local WWII authors and historians, Rolly Kidder and Phil Zimmer. Ferdie Tanner will be interviewed this week and will be aired at 12:30 PM and 6:30 PM.

"Your Brain in Action" is the topic of a presentation to the Chautauqua Women's Club by Peter L. Strick, PhD. The program will air at 12:50 PM and at 6:50 PM.

Chautauqua Sunrise, hosted by Doc Hamels, will have guest Rebecca Ruiz from the Chautauqua Center. The program airs live county-wide on various access channels at 9:00 AM on Saturday only, then repeats at 2:00 PM and 8:00 PM on Access Channel 5.

Repeat programming is typically re-aired throughout the week at other various time slots.

All programming starts on Saturday, March 24 and continues until Friday March 30.

Access Channel 5 is available to cable viewers in the Chautauqua, Mayville, North Harmony, Portland, Sherman, and Westfield areas, and can be found on channel 5 with a cable converter or on 5.3 on digital televisions without a cable converter.
