PR: Access Chautauqua Programming for July 21-27

All the new programming for the week of July 21, featuring Chautauqua Sunrise, Chautauqua People, Fresh Perspectives and Defenders of Freedom.

Defenders of Freedom will air at 12:25 PM and 6:25 PM, featuring interviews of World War II veterans Roland Swanson and Robert Breads.

Chautauqua People, hosted by John Viehe, will be at 1:30 PM and 7:30 PM. The guest is Rev. Dr. George Wirth, Presbyterian pastor educated at UNC Chapel Hill, M.Div. from Princeton, and D.Min. from Pittsburgh Theological Seminary. He made nine mission trips to Kenya and three to Haiti, plus six pulpit exchanges with churches in Scotland.

Chautauqua Sunrise, hosted by Doc Hamels, will have guests Paul Cooley and Tom Atwell discussing the Gerry Rodeo. The program airs live at 9:00 AM on Saturday only, then repeats at 2:00 PM and 8:00 PM.

Fresh Perspectives, hosted by Gail Erb, will air at 3:00 PM and 9:00 PM with guest Judy Einach, candidate for the NYS Assembly 150th district.

Repeat programming is typically re-aired throughout the week at other various time slots.

All programming starts on Saturday, July 21 and continues until Friday, July 27.

Access Chautauqua, formerly Access Channel 5, is available to cable viewers in the Chautauqua, Mayville, North Harmony, Portland, Ripley, Sherman, and Westfield areas, and can be found on cable channel 1301.
